| State v. Charles Stan Martin |
| |
| Andrew Roskind was co-counsel for Stan Martin, who was charged with Second Degree Murder for the death of June Alexander. Mrs. Alexander fell to her death while riding an amusement park ride in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. If convicted of Second Degree Murder, Mr. Martin faced up to 25 years in prison. After a lengthy jury trial, Mr. Martin was found not guilty of Second Degree Murder. The jury found Mr. Martin guilty of reckless homicide, and he was sentenced to 4 years of probation. | United States v. Robert Mays |
| |
| Norman McKellar represented Robert Mays, who was charged in federal court as playing a role in a drug conspiracy to bring illegal drugs from Detroit Michigan, to East Tennessee. On November 28, 2005, a preliminary hearing was held in the United States District Court for East Tennessee for Mr. Mays and 4 other defendants. Although the judge found probable cause for the 4 other defendants, all charges were dismissed against Mr. Mays and he was allowed to go free. Click here for the Knoxville News Sentinel article. |
